你要不要牛奶? Nī yào bù yào niú nǎi? Do you want milk? Literal: you want not want cow milk. The first sentence I thought in characters first and then worked out. Then I found 羊 yáng is sheep 山羊 shángyáng is goat (mountain sheep)
To learn a new language! My chosen language is Chinese Mandarin. One of the websites suggests to improve learning writing a blog in the language helps. As a complete beginner the challenge is to write a sentence at least once a week. I will write the Chinese (simplified) and pinyin along with the English original. Constructive feedback is encouraged.
